MSO4000 product launch
Research is time consuming but it can give you a better understanding of your customers and audiences.
Agilent had launched a Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) 10 years earlier, and it was reasonable to assume the market place would know what an MSO was.
Not so, focus groups held in San Jose and Shanghai proved otherwise.
The resulting advert produced for the Tektronix MSO4000 launch was ranked #1 in 7 out of 7 categories in a readership study of Embedded Systems Design, May 2007.
